Regenerative Land Project Simulator

Purpose

Helping Regenerative Visionaries to plan and share their visions

Description

There are so many beautiful visions out there for what we can do with a piece of land. Applying permaculture, indigenous wisdown, and solarpunk architecture to a landscape can shape it into a pocket of Eden. We need a tool that translates those visions into a digital simulation. This will not only help the visionholder gain clarity on their vision, but help them share it with partners and inspire others to contribute to the project. It starts with the location. Mapping out the footprint of the project on a satellite image. We can them import topography and terrain data to generate a 3D replica of the land. We can also import all sorts of climate data like sun exposure, temperature ranges, even zoning laws. This data combined with embedded permaculture knowledge can then inform a list of suggestions as a starting point (good locations for berms and swales, possible spots for solar or wind power, etc). Then the user can choose from a catalog of solutions to place in their project. Sustainable housing and energy, food forests, community centers, community micro-grids... We track inputs and outputs for each object, building towards circular systems and being aware of any external input or output requirements. They can then invite others to see and potentially collaborate on the project. Once they are ready to publish, they can share it with investors or other partners to inspire trust and cooperation.
